Leicester City striker Jordan Ayew will be the Black Stars captain for the AFCON 2025 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers against Angola and Niger.
This follows a choice by Ghana coach Otto Addo, reported at Thursday's presser for the two matches.
Talking on Thursday, Otto Addo proposed the change to Jordan Ayew, might be for the long stretch.
'The initiative was to make Thomas the captain to guide the team. Be that as it may, when he isn't there, I needed to address Kudus and I settled on the decision to make him the captain in Thomas' absence.'' Otto Addo told journalist at the Ghana Football Association's secretariat.

The Black Stars will face Angola on November 15 in Luanda, prior to facing Niger three days after the fact, in Accra.
