The Musician Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) has reported a festival of its Golden Jubilee in 2025.
At the launch festivity hung on November 7, 2024, at the Accra Tourist Information Center, the President of MUSIGA, Bessa Simons said a great deal of activities have been arranged for the event scheduled for the following year.
There will be a progression of shows highlighting local and international artistes, lectures, symposium, dinner gala, among others.
Aside from these, there is likewise going to be an all-woman festival.
"Something major will occur, and that is we will have all-ladies festival," he said.
The MUSIGA President subsequently welcomed female artists across the globe to partake in this festival.
"So we are welcoming female artists from everywhere the world, and it is self-supported in the event that you are coming from outside. Every one of the safe embassies will distribute it, so we are anticipating that ladies should come to Ghana and afterward they will mount the stage.
There will be outside, there will be in-entryways, there will be church projects, and we're pondering bringing Cece Winans and co here, to team up with our artistes, so that toward the finish of the following year, there will be agreement among us and artistes from everywhere the world," Bessa Simons added.
MUSIGA was established on December 9, 1975 to advocate for musician' right, advance the music industry, and protect Ghana's musical history
