Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola says English teams are in a difficult situation in Europe in light of Premier League planning.
City were drawn against Genuine Madrid in the Champions League knockout end of the season games on Friday.
The two-legged tie against the Spanish club comes in a disagreement February where City will play multiple times in 25 days, beginning with Sunday's outing to Stockpile.
However Guardiola says he has no bad things to say, the Spaniard says the Premier League's planning gives unfamiliar clubs a benefit in European contest.
"Continuously they put the hardest timetables for the European teams in the significant stages," he said.
"I'm not grumbling since we had inconceivable achievement managing this schedule.
"In any case, I recollect when I was at Barcelona, I followed the Champions League since it was the most appealing association on the planet. Alex Ferguson, Jose Mourinho, Arsene Wenger submitted similar questions.
"Do you believe it will change? The telecasters choose. There are leagues that play on the Friday before the Champions League. They don't ask me when it's smarter to play to have another day. It has forever been that way.
"It's nothing unexpected when I see the schedule. What will be will be. Here, the Head Association is substantially more significant than different rivalries."
