He revealed that the concert's first three editions were funded by Rev. Sam Korankye Ankrah, the founder and apostle general of Royalhouse Chapel International, who has been a steadfast sponsor of the event throughout its existence.
The gospel pastor discussed how the Apostle's guidance and kindness influenced his career in an interview with Roselyn Felli on Joy Prime's Changes on Friday, March 21, 2025.
"The Apostle Rev. Sam Korankye Ankrah and I met, and he was moved by my support of his vision. He assured me he would assist me. I so yielded to his leadership, and I can state that he funded everything on his own for three years in a row when I began producing New Wine. I owe my success to Rev. Sam Korankye Ankrah, he said, and he gave me the seed money I utilized to record my debut album.
The Mala songwriter added that the Apostle's investment of time, money, prayer, and advice, together with the discipline he instilled, helped him achieve success in a number of higher positions.
"Obviously, it's been upward ever since he led the way," MOGmusic continued.
