CR4 Entertainment created Pay Your Tax, which came out on March 19, 2025.
Samini's trademark hook opens the song, which is followed by the opening of Naa Agyeman's iconic Kwahu Bepo single.
Beyond its catchy melody, Pay Your Tax has a powerful message, imploring Ghanaians to uphold their civic obligation to contribute to national development by paying taxes.
Naa Agyeman gave an exclusive interview to Graphic Showbiz on Monday, March 24, 2025, outlining his motivation for using music to draw attention to this problem.
"I genuinely think that music is an effective teaching tool that can effectively and captivatingly communicate difficult concepts." People are more likely to take in and remember the message of a popular song when they find it enjoyable. This is particularly true when songs address significant societal concerns, which makes them an invaluable tool for public education.
"Take the subject of taxes, for example. Although it is frequently perceived as the responsibility of a select few, paying taxes is a collective duty that is crucial to promoting national growth and development." Imagine a song that clearly and succinctly describes the advantages of taxes while simultaneously urging people to complete their tax duties.
He stated, "I am using this new single to emphasize the significance of taxation because such a song could inspire a sense of civic responsibility."
Speaking on his choice to include Samini on a Highlife song in spite of the latter's experience in Reggae/Dancehall, he clarified that Samini's voice and delivery were a perfect fit for the song's theme.
